Do It Online

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet.

Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online (currently available to book online: blood tests, cervical smear screening)
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, and previous illnesses. We cannot provide viewable access to retrospective documents, tests results or consultations.

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at nhs.uk/gponlineservices

How to sign-up

For more information, please contact reception or next time you visit the surgery, bring with you a piece of photo ID (passport, driving licence) and something with your address on like a bank statement but not a gas or electric bill. If you don’t have these, please talk to us and we will help you sign-up.

Rapid Health

Instead of calling the surgery and having to wait to get through to one of the team, why not submit a Rapid Health form from the comfort of your own sofa. Simply head to Rapid Health and fill out the form with specific questions about your problem. If a photo would be required, a member of the practice team will send you a text message with a photo upload link.

The NHS app

The NHS app not only gives you the ability to request prescriptions and book appointments, it can link you through to specific advice and articles about various problems and the applicable solution. eConsult is also integrated to the NHS app meaning that you will not need to input your personal information, it will simply pull it directly from your medical record.

The NHS app is available on both the Apple and Android app stores and is free to download. You do not need to sign up for the NHS app services at the surgery, this can be done via the app using a passport and/or driving licence.
