You don’t need to contact your GP – they will contact us to update our records.

This will notify your midwife team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust who will contact you to arrange an appointment.
1) please take folic acid for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Vitamin D is also recommended throughout pregnancy.
2) please obtain a maternity exemption certificate from the surgery, your midwife, or online (NHS website) for free prescriptions whilst pregnant and for 12 months afterwards.
