We have recently made some changes to the way in which we run our Diabetic Review clinics.
You will now be invited to see one of our Health Care Assistant’s who will undertake the necessary physical checks and arrange for you to have a blood test.
Once your results have been received they will be reviewed by one of our experienced team of Practice Nurses who specialise in Diabetes.
You will then be contacted by the Diabetic Nurse and asked to attend for further review at the surgery – OR – you may be contacted for a telephone consultation by the Diabetic Nurse if there is no need for you to attend at the surgery premises.
Appointments for the Diabetic Nurse are held at Gudge Heath Lane Surgery weekdays, and at our Extended Access Hub, Westlands Medical Centre on weekends.
